Hi All, Our NI 324 has developed the nasty habit of plugging the auger just above the husking rolls. It seems to happen mostly when the picker is leaning to the right on a side hill.
Does anyone know of an adjustment or any other plan of action.
I'm in a spot here, as I don't have enough kids to pick it by hand.
I'm pulling it behind one of our D-19's and it's doing a fine job.
Thanks,
Chuck

unless the auger is worn down a bit where the corn drops into it, as the auger cant pull the shelled corn away from the husking bed fast enough right? maybe try slowing your ground speed a bit, you may be pushing too much material thru this unit? just a couple of thoughts that come to mind w/out seeing it in action

I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
