I'm looking for a sickle head NOS or in decent shape for B/C mower. Can also use complete 5ft assembly instead. Thanks.

Mike, Does your mower have the type of pitman that has a spring loaded ball joint clamp (small ball on sickle head), or is it the older style that must be adjusted with a wrench (larger ball)? I have an extra one of the old style that I might sell if you're interested. |

I have a sickle mower that was mounted on a B, and have no use for it. Located in Washington, near Seattle. You can have the whole thing.

Ron, could you post a picture of your sickle mower? I need to see how many parts I'm missing on mine! :-)

Since we're on the subject... about a week ago on the old forum, someone posted that they had a B/C mower available somewhere in Ohio. Link |

Brett,
I think this must be Newer Style?? Ball is pretty small and the pitman arm has 2 straps with a square clamp that slides down to lock on the ball.

MikeB: Yes, that sounds like the later "self adjusting" pitman. They won't work with what I have. It looks like you have plenty of options above though! |
