Have a question about it though if any one can help. The battery box is missing and I think it goes on frame rail but wich side cant tale by looking at it and also did the rc have a under the hood muffler or did it come out of the hood like a C . Thanks for any help,

Check out Tom from MN's site... link . He has some black and white photos of his family's RC... one being delivered, and it doesn't appear to have a muffler coming thru the hood.

Mark, Our RC has the battery box mounted on the left frame rail.

mine has muffler coming out of the hood, been added on in the past, going to leave it like that, no battery box or starter but will get both later on.

Looks like its not even a muffler but just a short flattened pipe. In the manual pictures it just barely clears the hood. HTH Tom

So does the RC have the same gas tank and hood as the B & C, or same as the WC?

Nice Mark Its in good shape also ours had to be carried in in pieces which come to think of it a lot of ours did.

It take the same batery box as a Wc and in the same location.

If not too nosey about how much did your RC cost? I looked at one in similar condition today that has been in a shed since late 50s, with a sickle bar mower, crank start model with noting but a mag.
