Are the bolts that hold the rear rim to the wheel centers for an RC unique to them? They don't match a WC bolt. Moved it into the shop today!

My 39 RC and 39 WC, both have the same wheel , rim, and bolts. Newer WC's are different.
I just went out and looked, the 39 WC wheels have 2 valve notches, Rc only 1. Both has the same bolts.and rims.

Both the cast center section of the wheel and the rim bolts are unique to the RC. The RC center section has only one cut-out for the valve stem where the WC wheel centers have two. The 9" RC rims are hard to find too. 28" VAC Case rims can be made to work with some grinding and welding. There are several other things that are unique to the RC also, so watch as you disassemble so as not to discard something that may be hard to replace.

Ted's got it right on the wheels and offers some great advice on noting the parts when disassembling. I take digital pictures of everything and print them into a 3 ring binder for use later.

BTW, I just noticed the correct belt pulley and front rims- both unique to the RC and difficult/costly to replace.
