My uncle was shelling corn Monday. He heard a load pop. His lug nuts worked loose and two of them snapped off. So today we got to work on getting it back together. Two and a half hours later we got it back to his shed. Unhooked the tractor from the wagon and pulled the R50 about a quarter of a mile. I forgot my video camera, but i got a couple of pictures. My daughter injoyed the show from the tractor seat.

In the earley 80`s there was an update for the 23.1 wheels. I done 26 combines. I forget how many welding rods it took for each wheel. l made a puller for the studs cause the were replaced too. That was the last job I did for the dealer. 26 years later I`m unemployed because my factory job went to Mexico!!! I`d like to be back on a farm. |
