Can any of you guys tell me if the Unstyled and styled WC final drives are the same? What I am really looking for is if the mounts for the fenders are the same, specifically can you take a unstyled WC fender and bolt it on a styled final drive?

I have unstyled on my 41 right now, I will take a couple more pics, they are coming off within the hour because they are sold tomorrow. I have 28" F20 spokes and about 1" clearance, not enough to ever get in mud with.

One hole will line up with the brake housing, you would have to drill 2 more in the fender. The "U" brackets on the bottom will need remade or shimmed wider to maintain perpendicular. I think it needs to be wider.

Just put an unstyled 1938 rear end on a styled 1941 WC. Just had to use the brake covers off a styled rear end and my fenders bolted right up. it appears that you can do the same thing going the other way as long as you use the proper brake cover for your application.
