We have a 1941 Allis-Chalmers WF. Is there any rarity to these models? Is it worth anything? We are thinking of selling it and getting another tractor with hydraulics and 3-point. It is in running and driving condition. It needs minor TLC but overall the sheet metal and rims are in excellent condition except the fenders. Thanks |

While not the rarest of all Allis' they do seem to be somewhat few and far between. They were built both unstyled(1937-40) and styled(1940-51). If I recall about 8000 total units. Some were also sold to TractoMotive and made into loaders.
Mine always gets attention at shows. A nice easy to operate tractor too.

Unstyled ran from 37 to 40. I have a 37. Back when the owner registry was working it seemed that there were more low serial number WF's listed than any other tractor. I often wondered why more of the early ones survived.

I don't see many at shows, I have serial #46 unstyled and a styled one, they are fun to drive and show, both are complete and running but need restoration, put a 45 motor in the styled one for pulling, have not tryed it yet. I wish you all a blessed thanksgiving, Ken
