unfortunately no takers. Big iron does not have a minimum bid and we don’t want to take 40-500 for her so we’ll stick a battery in her and drive her to the scrap yard. $1000 in scrap is better than using up space. Engine still 💪

Unless scrap has gone up a lot, I can't imagine you getting more then $300-$400 for it after the cost of tire disposal, etc.

Curious what engine it has in it - as a 230 ci engine is kinda hard to find and they were in A,s  ,, but dang ,, $ 1000 in scrap yard ! Woowsers, not around here for unprepared

I just talked to the local scrap yard operator this week. His current price is $160/ton for common scrap iron and $180/ton for heavy scrap.

Copper is $3/pound.
