How many D17s did they make ie. I, II, III & IV? Which is most desirable?

62540 According to Norm Swinford's book. Series 4 has the best hydraulic system and usually brings the most $.

First series is prettier, my opinion. But Series 4 had all the improvements so the best tractor. I just like the oval decal models and PO #1. But I remember watching the neighbors drive by with newer models and them shiny white wheels thinking they were cool too.
