Byron,
Its real simple. and I think the way you put it is perfect. You just didnt say the rest. You would like to bust there heads open for lying to you. The same way I feel towards AGCO.

It sure would solve a lot of problems if they would just keep the orange tractor. I myself do not farm. I just work on them so it is a disappointment for me seeing both sides of the fence. No matter what happens guys lets keep posting on here and having fun with the real orange tractors that really matter. We all know what that is.....AC

Someone once posted that this site is watched by people at AGCO and I'm sure they are getting an eyefull of what the real supporters of Allis Gleaner Co think. Weather it translates into a change in the head office, who knows, but it sure is fun to watch!
BTW, I was reading an article about the guy the president hired to oversee GM after the "buy out". He was amazed to find that the big brass at the headquarters didn't even use the same elevator as the people in the lower floors of the building. Talk about being out of touch!

Well I guess I would have to look at a McCormick tractor if I was going to be looking to buy a tractor soon. There is a dealer close I think they are a good looking tractor and I have heard they bought the patents from the old international line, but I don't know if its true. I don't like Agcos decision and it doesnt make complete sense. A Massey is a red Agco but it dose have those initials "MFer" so if I had to buy red I think I would rather have a McCormick or even a case. I have talked way to bad about Deere to Deere people and wouldn't be able to live it down if I got one. My local Agco dealer also sells New Holland so if thats all they have left when the orange is gone I couldn't buy one cause they are just too ugly.

Some people from AGCO may watch this site but I bet they don't ride the same elevator as the ones who make decisions.

AGCO lost my faith earlier in the year. I proudly purchased a White
6144 in the late 90's. Soon the BRAND was no longer important and was
phased out. Then the troubles started. This tractor was nothing but a
nightmare to get parts for. Over the past two years it was in the shop
for 18 months. They could never find the matching part number. It
took them months to find a simple driveline coupler to match. They
would have to send the broken part off and have special built. It was
almost comical as if this machine was a prototype built from non
production parts. The dealer was super frustrated and I was irrate.
lots of $$$ later I finally made the decsion to get rid of it for a
JD. I have never owned a Deere but felt no other choice. We will see
how it turns out but I have decided that AGCO, a company I want to
succeed, will have to prosper without my particiaption. I hope the
WHITE issue I had doesn't repeat for all of you AGCO guys. Good Luck.
