I visited the Ag Heritage Museum in Boerne (pronounced Bernie) Texas, on Saurday. I found 2 Allis Tractors on display. A restorable WC on steel and a almost complete restored running RC. The 2 men that showed me around have ACs in their own personal collection and are two of many volunteers responsible for maintaining the museum grounds and various exhibits.
The RC was missing the oil filter and oil filter base. As a donation I offered to send down a oil filter base and gasket. Maybe another Texas AC Forum Member would like to donate a oil filter to make the RC complete. RC has a new water pump installed that one of the volunteers ordered from Jim @ OK tractor. They have a nice new AC oil pressure gauge jerry rigged in the oil line. It will look better in its proper place.
As a grounds maintainance machine they have a nice little AC 5020 with terf tires
If you are ever visiting in and around San Antonio be sure to visit the Museum at Boerne. It's right at the east edge of town on Texas Highway 46. Hours are 10 to 5 on Saturday. If you live close by I'm sure they would not turn down any offer to do volunteer work at the Museum. They have a Case VAC almost ready to put a fresh rebuilt engine in.
I believe they have a Antique tractor show on the grounds in April.
