Do you name your tractors?

   D10 is "Barney", 7040 is "Big Tractor", 7010 is "Little Big Tractor", WD45 is "John", after the old boy next door that bought it new and was the grampa I never had, Farm-All 460D is "O'L Red", that is my first tractor I got in 1980 and am the second owner, the G is "Lyle" after his owner   and the 917 is "917". I haven't came up with a name for my Farm-All 450. Oh, the combine is "The F".

	I'm like LouSWPA and name them after the folks I got it from. Theres Grandpas, dads, Lyle tractor, Hilsabeck, but my two B Farmalls is the new one and the old one. The new one is actually older than the old one but it looks newer. mojo/Mike

	Absolutely named. The Allis, and the JD 2020 is Kermit. We had 2 F-150s for a while my daughter's was called Fred and mine's still called Ethel. The car is the escape pod.

	My B we named "Alice" (how original being that she was my first AC tractor) the IB I named "Lil Al" the WC is named "Hercules" (Herc for short) cause I bought him from a fellow that used to live on Hercules Powder Co.'s property and he used to cut the property's grass with the WC. The G I didn't come up with a name yet, although "Rusty" seems to fit quite well. lol! The 716H is just "the 716".... Steve@B&B

	There is "Old Allie" she's a 1940 WC bought new in 1941 by my Grandfather, "Little Allie" a 917 Hydro garden tractor with a 4 ft. mower deck, "Allie B" a 1940 B that belongs to my wife, havent come up with a name for the 1941 C that is in pieces in the shop. My Dad has "Ward" a 1945 WC that came from his Uncle Wards Estate, "WC" a 1946 WC that he won a plowing contest with in the fiftys when he was in the FFA, "The 15" a 1964 D-15 that was the first tractor that I ran at around 8 to 10 years of age, "The B" a 1939 B and last but not least a 1948 G called what else? "The G" There are a few other colors in the family as well, some have names some don't. Mike McCauley USAR Retired

	My is named Allison. Back when I was a kid there was a DJ named "Allison Steele, the nightbird" and I would listen to her dreamy voice all the time. I met her a few years later and she kinda looks like my WD, faded and rusty!

	My '56 WD45 gets called "Bubba".......May not look the purtiest, but tough enough to get the job done!!!
	'55 WD45, '47 Model 60 All-Crop Combine, '41 Farmall M, '80 IHC 784, '70 Belarus 500, '48 Studebaker 2R16 Crops are Green.......Tractors are Orange and Red!!!!!!

	I'm loving this post! Glad to inspire it! You all know the storys on mine, named after the PO's, etc... It sure makes it easer to know which tractor your talking about when you get more than one.... Keep em coming!

	Our 1955 WD-45 is called Ruby because when I brought her home she had so many home made parts, my father in law kept saying it was a "Rube Goldberg" contraption. She had a homemade wide front end that had parts from a 32 ford axle, a hay rake and angle iron from a bed frame. The battery sat in a breaker box from a house that was cut with a torch to fit around the shifter, and the shifter boot was a small toilet plunger. Even the power steering was home made (Chevy I think) The best part though was the old guy i got it from just put a gleaner engine it, and man she's got all kinds of power.
