What would be the best length of drawbar for pulling a wd45 diesel, short or on the longer side, thanks.

Short for pulling heaveyer loads, easyer turning and stronger when short. Long for pto.

Are we talking about competitive tractor pulling? If so, even with the 45 diesel being heavier in the front than a similar gasser model, my observations are that the best ones still go about as short and high as the rules allow. Kip

Yes I need to pull the 45 some, it is starting to run a little poor from doing parades and drives, might as well be competitave.

If you can't float the front end short, you can try longer, but I'd still go as high as you can. Kip
