OK, so I have the 3pt on the B now and operational. Next issue is how light the front end is.
How hard is it to find the big weights that hang front the front axle, how much do they weigh, and what should I expect to pay for them?
The guy I bought the tractor from may have a set of engine side weights for sale.
Might look into front wheel weights as well.
We tried out a Ford 3pt sickle mower on the tractor, it worked pretty good except the tractor wanting to pop wheelies.
Thanks,
Dave

if you dont need to stay with factory original, you can ge creative with old wheel weights on a custom front end box, on the front wheels, under the belly pan, or mounted to the sides of motor with a custom bracket from bell housing to axle support plate

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Fairly easy to find, you will pay between $200-$350 / set depending on location.
About 90 lbs each

I think Glenn is referring to the side engine weights. The axle weights are harder to find and go for 400+.

tyler,
I just bought a set for $150.
Fred has done near as well.
I seen that guy in Md that was asking $400, so I guess he got it???? I put my value estimates out on deals that I have seen done. Engine side weights average $200-250. Some people do get more, some get less.

Darn it. Why am I NEVER this lucky?????? Guess Freddy boy was lying to me when he told me that one time! Oh well, I understand him wanting to keep his sources hidden, but it's out and on now!

Anyone ever seen wheel weights like these? Same guy has them, might see if he will sell them to me.
