This is probably a stretch but does anyone have a NOS hydro handle for a late 2 series or 3 series Gleaner? Or at least a used one with a good hand grip? Just bought an L3 and the grip is gone, and I’m trying to make it identical to the machine my grandpa had, and the grip on it was like new. I’ll need other cab parts as well like tattletale monitors and a few knobs but I’m starting with this.
Any help or leads appreciated! Thanks! Edited by CrestonM - 24 May 2021 at 8:29am |

I’ll have to look into that. The dealer I called said it was NLA but that dealer isn’t the best. I’ll do some more checking!
Also looking for a NOS or good condition triangle logo steering wheel cap for the deluxe steering wheel, as this one is pretty rough. Thanks! Edited by CrestonM - 19 May 2021 at 9:29pm |

The pad they have are orange for the R2 series. I made my own from 1/2 inch closed cell foam from fehr cab kits. It's too thick so got some 3/8s from them. Haven't made one yet but it looks bout the right thickness from all the salvage combines I've looked at. Still haven't found double sided adhesive like I need.

Look up part # AC-243D on DJ'S site for the steering wheel cap, it's the same as a 180/190 cap

Freedguy... thanks for the tip! Unfortunately the cap is indeed different. There were different packages, and the base package had the center you are thinking of. The deluxe package, which is what this has, is a totally different one. The part number for it is 71323728.
The part number for the hydro handle grip is 71309163. |

Sorry to bother you with the dj #, Yes, I noticed the part# difference between the 2 sites
The part # you are looking for is 71323728 for the steering wheel cap, I had no luck "crossing" that # though Edited by FREEDGUY - 22 May 2021 at 5:06pm |

You've got the "sport" steering wheel. There's a few good ones at Cooks in Clinton and know there are probably some for sure at Mike's equipment in Buhler
