The AC Operators Manual for the Industrial 615 loader Form SV 105 states that the hydraulic oil capacity for the loader is 12 gallons. The fill plug is located on the right side as sitting in the seat on the loader boom, while the vent plug is located at the top of the loader cross member. There is no oil "level " mentioned in the loader operators manual. There is a drain plug on the lower right hand side of the loader boom.
Recommend draining the hydraulic oil - check its condition and refill with the 12 gallons as stated in the manual. Also, the loader hydraulic system has a magnetic screen located at the bottom of the right side loader boom that has a screen and baffle. Hydraulic oil change interval per the manual states at the first 50 hours of operation, (probably well past that) and then every 500 hours thereafter. It also recommends changing the hydraulic filter at the time of service. HTH's ~ Orangeman

As you read this reply please realize that the information specific to the type of hydraulic oil as specified for the AC 615 loader is over 60 years old. With that said the manual states the following:
" Any reputable brand of engine oil suitable for A. P. I. service classification of MS or DG of the proper viscosity may be used. Viscosity - For the highest temperature of 0 degree Fahrenheit, use SAE 5 - For highest temperature of 0 degrees to 70 degrees Fahrenheit, use SAE 10 - For highest temperature above 70 degree Fahrenheit use SAE 20 CAUTION: KEEP HYDRAULIC OILS AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS CLEAN. " * Excerpt from Page 6 of AC Operators Manual Industrial - 615 Loader Topeka Kansas There are lots of options on hydraulic fluid - recommend you check with your local oil supplier or tractor shop they probably have it available in 5, 10 or maybe 55 gallon drums.
