Has anyone tried using cylinder stops on the rear lift arms when working with a loader? I'd like to hang a counter weight in the 3 point for moving snow. I do not want to add a seperate spool for the loader because I would prefer it to remain factory. Any ideas?

Normal stops won't do well with the way the cyls connect to the arm

If someone could post a picture of the row-crop front mount cultivator, there was a lift arm stop with the rear tire track scratcher. Put one on each side and drill a hole to prevent the stop from sliding from your extra heavy weight. This will work and do what you want it to do.

Mines disassembled hanging on the barn wall but the left lift cyl gets un pinned and swung fwd to raise the front section. I think the stop rod was pinned in lift arm and slid through an angle iron on back side of fwd cyl bracket so I'm not sure what you are saying will work? Been many years since I installed it so memory could be off a bit.

You are correct that the left cylinder gets swung forward. I'm thinking a similar design, but installing a long grade eight bolt on the rear pin location and anchoring the new stop(s) there and go forward to the side frame bracket, similar to, but not quite identical to the cultivator set-up.
