I had a deere 220 disk that needed scrapers and the cost was going to be a bunch to replace with new parts. I wish I had tried to weld an extension section to the old scrapers. This would have probably put the scrapers back in working order. The scrapers on this disk rode and rubbed against the blade, there were different holes to put the springs in to make them rub the blade with more or less spring tension. Seems like a design that had to consume the scrapers. I ended up selling the disk at a consignment sale and don't really miss it for other reasons such as the re-phasing cylinders.
