Hello all...I have a U power unit...the 318 to clarify.
.it's hand start only ...looking for a ring gear and a starter for it...I have it all apart overhauling it and figured this would be a nice upgrade...thanks in advance...Kevin |

You do realize you also must have an oil pan that accommodates the starter, correct? They cast the starter hole provision into the pan on the UM engine, so the pan itself is different. A starter from a S, SC, D,or DC Case tractor will work on the UM engine just fine. (must re reference the set screw hole) The Ring gear will be the hardest piece of the equation to find.
