Florida Flywheelers show is this coming weekend February 21-24. Allis Chalmers is this year's feature tractor. Has anyone made any plans to attend? I was thinking that we might have an "unofficial meeting" one day (or more).

Is anyone interested?

We went yesterday. I saw Dave Dickmyer and Calvin Schmidt and a few other AC guys that I recognize, but not sure of their names.

They had a great orange turnout. Some really nice restored tractors.

If you want to see my pictures, they are in a Facebook post (too hard to post that many pictures on here):

It will probably be my last trip to Florida Flywheelers. FF seems to have evolved to more of a huge flea market (mostly junk) than a tractor show. There are also so many golf carts, UTV's and ATV's that you have to be really careful that you don't get hit.

I agree the the multitude of ASS toters have ruined most all the shows. I'd love to get hit by an ASS toter at a show. The ambulance chasing Lawyers would love to get a personal injury suit like that at a public venue. Many just turn their kids loose on an ASS toter at shows.  I have nothing against truly handicapped people that drive with some sense, however those that think it's a playground or race track should be barred from shows.
If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
