I just had a AC 160 given to me. It sat for 10 years in a barn. I got it running, but the power steering is empty of fluid. I don't have a manual for it. does anyone know what type fluid is recommended?

you can use ATF trans fluid ( type A or F) , or Universal Hydraulic fluid  (UTF) .... I would not use the NEW Mercons or DExtrons that are synthetic with lots of detergents... 10 wt hydraulic oil is also OK.

Thank you Steve. I though ATF would work. The local parts store recommended power steering fluid like used in cars. but he was not sure.
