Is it possible to plumb a joystick control for 6 way blade on an HD4? How hard to do? Thanks Tracy

Randal, I hit the wrong key. I meant an HD4 but should be similar. I know it would make operating a lot easier.  I figured someone has tried or done it.Thanks Tracy

do you want joystick electronic valves with true all electronic , pilot operated , or just a single stick wobble control
the valve itself would need changing for the proper volume , pressure and speed .
I ran a Komatsu dozer with a all electronic joystick and without a lot of practice is seemed awkward to run over my FD5 6 way control .
Then a 2 stick and or 4 stick backhoe gives one a different feel yet pilot control on excavator seems natural

I feel your pain
A joystick handle and its linkage could be adapted from another tractor
or mimic and make your own
Sure wish you would dive in and show us ...........

I don't see why it isn't doable. I will really look at it hard and determine if it is worth it. Tracy

seems my FD5 has 2 sticks  - left/right by moving the stick sideways / up/down by forward and back - but angle depth is set on corner of blades on separate stick actions of the 2 sticks .
The Komatsu used push buttons to control single stick default to up/down , left/right , and button to change that motion into high or low corner of blade
