AC One Sixty hydraulics guit

Sounds you may be air locked. First check your transmission/hydraulic fluid level. If you have a 160, there is a filter near the seat. A square cap with 4 nuts holding it in place. Remove the 4 nuts and cap. Gently remove the plastic filter. After you examine it gently clean it in a parts washer or gasoline in plastic container. They are NLA so be gentle. So many of those don’t get cleaned and become contaminated. It will stop the hydraulics from working. The pump sucks oil from the sump through that filter. There is another canister filter to the right of the radiator. If it hasn’t been replaced change it and the oil if it’s due to be changed. 25 quarts if I remember correctly. Another thing to check in is the coupling hose on the sump line. At the bell housing where the 2 pipes meet check the rubber coupling for cracks and make sure the clamps are tight. After these areas are checked I plug a 4 foot hydraulic hose into the top rear remote, the other end into a clean empty hydraulic bucket to catch the oil as t comes out of the hose. Start the tractor and go to at least 1500 rpm. Have a second person operate the hydraulic remote back and forth until all air is gone and a steady stream of oil comes out. Move the hose to the next outlet and repeat the process. Once that is done operate the lift arms, they should be functional now. This process has always worked for me.
