The paint shop is open and reassembly starts today. It appears to be orange like we were looking for. I guess I should wash all my tools and my hands and find new nuts and bolts so it doesn't get dirty.

Steve, your right we usually don't make things happen this fast either. This is the first time we have set a deadline. That being March 12th, hoping to take it to the antique equipment display at the Redwood Region Logging Conference in Eureka, Ca. Another thing it sure makes it easier to put back together when it's this fresh in your mind. Don't have to go looking for parts because most of them are still laying around on the ground where I took them off. Going to the decal and seat upholstery shop today.

Direct to metal paint? Hows it stick to all that rust? I need to get off my butt and paint some of my projects.

A lot of us wish we had your weather and atmospheric conditions for painting outside this time of year. Your project is an inspiration to many of us that only get as far dreaming of not only your weather but your skill, sense of staying focused and determination to reach your goal on time. Thanks for keeping us in the loop.

The out door paint shop is a luxury that is un-available here in ND this time of the year! Looks great! Thanks for posting the pictures. Darrel

Another thought popped into my head. Did you steal the kids swing set to make parts hangers? LOL! Darrel
