It appears that the L-shaped bracket that connects the rear of the mower deck and the roller bar has broken in half. Two questions, what is the proper term for this part and secondly, is there any place that anyone knows of where I can purchase one?

Can you have it welded? Take it to a welder and see if he can run a bead on it. He might be able to fix ya right up.

Call the gals at Sandy Lake (vendor listed on this site) and they can send you parts break down of your model. Once verified on part needed, they are pretty darn good at finding what you need for the older units.

If you are unable to use the address, just do a search for "bsintek". That should find the site for you. I use that link all the time.
You must enter 1691032 into the search box. It is a Simplicity site and will not except the Allis numbers. The Simplicity model is a 5216H. LOL Bob
