Allis Chalmers Grader DD got 'er done

First of all, to all of you who have helped and given me encouragement with my DD Allis Chalmers project, thank you. Don't laugh but after about 20 hours of the most frustrating task of trying to put one snap ring on the main shaft, finally got it accomplished. I am not a novice to mechanic work. I have owned dozers, excavators, dumptrucks, back hoes, 18 wheelers, etc. You have to understand and I know many of you do, that in order to mount the creeper box on the front of your transaxle,  you have to first stab the creeper box with the main transmission shaft. After you have inserted the shaft into the transaxle a little ways then you have to reach through the hole where the gear mounts and slide another gear on that shaft in the transaxle. Then you have to slide a snap ring on before you can bolt the creeper box to the transaxle. There is no way to install the snap ring through the side of the transaxle, because the lower gears of the transaxle are in your way. The only way that I could conquer this task is working the snap ring through the bell housing. I welded two nuts on the end of my snap ring pliers and installed a bolt through those nuts so that I could open the snap ring pliers and manipulate the snap ring on the gear mentioned above. I say all of this so it may help someone in the future that has to go through this ordeal.  In the future if anyone on this forum needs any help pertaining to creeper boxes, feel free to message me. I feel like I am a creeper box specialist.
