What's everyone recommend for Hydraulic oil in a mid 80s AC acc 50k forklift?
I'm redoing the entire Hydraulic system and flushing and re sealing everything. |

Adam.... most older tractors used some type of 20 wt hydraulic oil... you can probably get something like ISO 46 at you local NAPA or possibly Farm Store... You would also be safe using a good quality UTF ( Universal Tractor FLuid)... or Hydraulic/ Transmission FLuid found at Farm Stores.
Dont buy the CHEAPEST stuff like Hydraulic 303 oil... Get the one that says PREMIUM and lists a dozen specs for CASE/CAT/ ALLISON/ JD / etc on the back. Edited by steve(ill) - 06 May 2022 at 1:20pm |
