I have a 7G B series Allis Chalmers loader. I have no transmission pressure. I can move the loader with the bucket and the transmission will eventually build pressure. I know the gauges are working. I have cleaned what I believe is the main filter, after draining the trans. fluid. Any ideas of what I should check first? I don't have a service manual. Thanks

Supposedly the G-B has the same trans as a HD7G, if so there is a strainer in the face of the trans to the left side as you look down from the operating seat. The steering and trans pump suctions come off that strainer in my 7G when mine came out it was almost solid.
If that is not the issue then check the coupler to the trans pump(top right of the converter) or to see if it is generating pressure as it may have failed. |

This is a 7G trans face, the main strainer is center right as you look at it
