found a set of Firestone F&R 15.5x38 with this cut. i  know nothing about tire cutting. this is more than topcut right?  i have had my eyes open for tires for my puller that is probably a year out from completion, but i know good ones are hard to come by.    so my question is, what are you opinions on these, i was really wanting uncut as i wanted to be Natpa DIv2 legal but these arnt a bad price.  may jump on them and see what happens

They would be the same if you had a brand new tire? I think they are top cut though

Nice top cut, better than a new tire, if cut correctly they will have a nice angle on them where they will BITE the track! Looks as if the front of the lug has been cut also, not sure if that will be considered "Top Cut".

That is a common style cut front and top cut. Looks like there is alot of tread left that can be good and bad. Around my area uncut 151s are priced higher than full cut 151s due to the demand for 15.5 top cut. Because if you run full cut you will be pulling against 18.4s. 151s are great one of the best top cut tire but when you start cutting the front edge it levels the playing feild for other brands. I would check tire rules around you. If you choose top cut you can pull NATPA 2TC and USAP farmstock.

That would be OK fine. Thought you couldn't use them because of the top and front sharpening.
