New loader, Bending wouldn't engage... disassembled, found this pin separated from the engagement lever. Do you know if this pin is welded onto the lever originally? Or just pressed in? Starter has been rebuilt at least once, and otherwise looks fine

Solved this, drilled out back of lever, inserted the pin I made out of the 88 F250 clutch master cylinder rod, and welded the back side of it. Reassembled starter, works like new.
