My HD6G has not run in several years After adding oil to the motor, transmission and final drives It started and ran well. I was surprised when a large mouse nest blew out the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe has a weather protector and was covered with a bucket and was under a tarp. The exhaust does not have any holes in it. Darn clever these mice. Usually mice like the steering clutches.

I'm looking for the front driveshaft yoke for my HD6G and rings for my Detroit 2-71
I have a reground crankshaft and bearings for the 344 HD6 motor

The front yoke are 2 model  ==ubolt==bolt on joint

Early HD5 usea Vickers hydraulic pump , it was superceided by the Hydreco pump - both uses a mount for their own pump system

The transmission yoke is #085879
The yoke is sloppy so the transmission seal leaks oil
I'm looking for a transmission yoke that is in better condition than the
one I have

is it the yoke or the seal assembly?  
my 6g is a 56 and still has the old style seal, not a lip seal.  you can buy that seal asembly new from general gear

I was advised to change that bearing when you do the seal. If it goes it drops the balls into the gears below it. Generally spitting the transmission case open, or at least breaking teeth off the gears. I forget details but was not frustrating job, since it is not Oh why did I get into this memory.

I have a rear yoke but have no number on and I check it on my input shaft and seal ring and it fit oké and dimention 3 1/2 inch hight and screws holes are 3 1/2 center by 1 1/2 inch

  You were able to pull this bearing from outside the case?

As I said no bad memories so it had to be easy. And it was not many years latter the lower bearings failed.

In a farming situation I was pulling ( a sprayer I think) and started up a hill, stopped to shift. Things came loose ( assume a ball from a bearing) and the gears locked up. With the clutch disengaged it rolled back to the bottom ( brake locks are iffy always put in low and shut off if I get off on a hill). Towed it a mile to home to work on. All the loose pieces settled in the bottom and harm to gears.

Neverr had a problem with the front bearing but replaced 2 of the rear bearings which a double row ball bearings , cage for balls broke and they all moved together which set the pinion in wrong place to ring gear . 
 I did rebuild the transmission a couple times over the last 40 years I have had my HD5G, and replaced all the bearings as well as welded one tooth back on high speed reverse gear. That has held up over last 25 years but seldom use the high spped side . 
  Rebuilding all the parts in the shifter from cross shaft to the ball end of shift lever made the biggest change in operation as now it finds gears easily and shifts positive
