Ok...Doug has a problem getting his pictures to work...so I got them...here they are....he'll post up when some one has questions.
I think the story is he and is cousin have a large piece of ground to clear....he's been looking for another HD11B dozer...not being able to find what they wanted in both price and location...they settled on this HD16DP...a late one in the model.
Here's his 16B that we had posted some stories about some years ago.
This 16DP looks like a really nice specimen
Comes complete with 2 operators too.

Also got a parts tractor....it's late enough that it has segmented sprockets.

Yeah thanks Mel for Posting the pics. Yeah I farm with my cousin and he recently bought a big tract of Land and just for laughs asked if he could clear any of it and he got a big surprise in that he could clear about 125 ac,which is totally unheard of now in my area.I already had my 16b but that is a while lot of work for 1 machine so I want looking for another 16b but could not find one close to me in dezent shape and someone want a Fortune for it but I did find this nice 16dp and a late model parts tractor. Also my cousin is going to fix his 14c that he hast ran since I bought my 16b in 2008. Im going to try to Stick with what I know and I know the 16s are good tractor. It's going to be a big Projekt this Winter after farming is done

Also Im thinking about putting the ripper on one of the 16s off the parts machine to pull up stump roots and maybe later on to bury some tile maybe on some of my farmland. What do yall think? Good idea or bad?

I loved my old 16.  A PS and hyd blade would be icing on the cake.  for clearing i would vote ripper hands down.  I dont know how many times i have cleared tree rows and wished i had a ripper to pull up roots.  easier on the root rake too
