Had a look at the lineup of HD11`s on machinerytrader you mentioned Michale. That 11E or 11F (battery box decals) in Texas would be well worth a look if want something close to what your dad had. Seems like good value for money compared to the other older tractors on there.  Mac

I put my time in on some 12Gs, we use for road pioneering.  Would push good sized firs (24 inch) and could dig out stumps quite quickly with their 3 yard bucket.  I think they were based on the HD-16 with the radiator moved to the rear and the fuel tank where the radiator had been.  The ones I ran had three shank rippers. Good power, fast and with foot steering you had both hands free for shifter and bucket controls.

mac the one in missouri look just like the one dad had the one with that pusher on it . but the undercarrage dont look so hot from the pics. and 15 gs for that sounds kinda steep to me.

Yep, the tractor in Texas looked the best value for money 11 on there. They are a good tractor too, with another 30 odd horsepower than the non turbos, and hydraulic oil emersed steering. They sound real good with that TO6 turbo.   Mac
