Folks,
 This small change to allow some actual work area near the lift has been wonderful! We have the front of the Comet apart and it is being reassembled. The work surfaces provide the space for new and old parts and help that antique car project to move along easily.

GSTROM99,
Putting new front suspension, steering components, and disc brakes with dual master cylinder on it. 60 years, it's time for a upgrade!. Just set it down on the new coils and the front is 2 inches higher than it was. Car is level with the air shocks in the back now. Still have the master cylinder to install, and a rear brake hose. Then can start to bleed the system. Should be fun! Then to the alignment shop!

Disc brakes, and dual master are great upgrades.  Power or manual?

Either way, being able to stop when needed is a pretty good plan.

Gstrom99, Folks,
Well as I pulled the rear axles to replace the seals I found the old wheel cylinders were frozen and or really rusty. So new NAPA wheel cylinders were installed on the rear. Bleed the rear brakes again. Checked the vent of the rear end while we were in there.
Several test rides: The brakes work really well with good pedal, not power for sure but confident of the stopping ability. Drivability is much better! Maybe 80 % better. Can't wait to see if the alignment makes additional improvements. 
Now thinking there rear springs may need some help as its now a little soft in the rear.

Phil,
 We are so lucky to have this sweet woman in our lives!
She doesn't comment much at this point, but loves to go see what's going on our projects!
I am learning things to do to help us get through the day and have fun too.
We took the 65 Comet to breakfast, then took the 32 truck to the nearby job site to help on the building. Our lives have changed a lot. I miss Cheryl's cooking!!

I agree with Brian, spray foam it for insulation. It makes the building tighter.

Tom, Folks,
 I think he is going to stud the inside walls and put vertical batting in them. He plans to have blow in insulation above the steel ceiling.
Have been trying to talk him into pex in the floor but he is dead set against it. Boy Cheryl and I are really enjoying the warmth in our shop!
Worked with his building crew to put up some steel on the west wall. Rain and wind and mud today!

Steve, folks,
The rear garage overhead will be where the bikes, four wheelers, and side by side will go in and out most of the time. Nic has four boys between 12 and 6! The corner concrete will be a separate pour from the floor. The undercover area will be to sit out of the sun in the evening. Morning coffee there too. Nice place to sight in the guns or bows, into the back yard. Or watch the boys on the dirt track or at the pond in the back field too. Might have a cold frosty adult beverage from there too?

Siding is coming along nicely. I helped a couple hours this weekend. Things like holding the dumb end of the tape or picking up the job site.
