Ride to Minneapolis to get the New To Us Living Quarters trailer the wife was groaning about the Right WS Glass, had Etch from a bad blade, and was starting to smoke a bit. Had bought the seal, had intended to have a WS Service come and change them both but alas bought the two glasses and installed ourself HERE. Then to kick me in the teeth a Little Harder, the starter on my newly recovered Super Duty that I had CONSIDERED should be changed during the big work, gave up.
KW The Worst of two WS Both got replaced with a New Seal Ran out of time and left lock strip out a few days. Once was back in and Glasses cleaned. Then that 25 year old Finally Gave It Up 7.3 Starter, Got my $$$ Worth from that one!! |

Have all new glass for my B-61 once I decide to get off my duff and put it back on the road. Near every piece has been opaque around the perimeter for many years and scratched up.The wing windows are bubbled and yellowed in the center which is typical of glass that old, (1957).

Uncertain How the previous owner slipped this to FedEx but this arrived as a shipped 30# Package. Closer to 130#. Now to set up and install a slide out 'Drawer' for it in the rear Trailer side compartment. 1" Square steel, angle iron and 200# Slider Rails should do the trick attached to the internal trailer framing. That will give plenty of Air for cooling, engine op and ability to exhaust Outside of Trailer.
Some slight Fiberglass scuffs, a little resin and those will be fine. Noted as Less Than 110 service hours. Now need to buy 20# Cylinder and hose/regulator assembly, then wire in either hard wired or to a side installed outlet and just plug in as would Outside Electrical service. |

Doesn't your Gen. already have a 30 amp. RV Receptacle? I bot a 2,000 Watt Honda Gen about 15 years ago for RV boondocking when travelling. A standard 30 amp. RV Power Chord off the shelf connects the RV Factory Connection to the Gen. Small adapters are available to convert the the 30 amp RV chord to 20 amp. G |

Been working the trailer lately, coming together nicely as catch up to everything else needed attention. Axle riser blocks installed, 3 1/8â rear lift on the torsion axles sits it flatter for better load distribution. Are a Dexter Axle supplied parts kit. Adjusted rear door latches for a closer seal contact then to installing the motorcycle front wheel cradle, supplied bolts wee too short where will attain at local hardware store today at some point.. Removed a Grouping of Scotch Loc wiring mess and replaced a pinched cross axle brake power cord.
Genny still sitting in the shop as await other pieces to begin the slide out drawer/platform for it to bolt onto. Will have to be a slide out for cooling and exhaust dispersal, both exit underneath and not cutting a hole in trailer floor. Replaced L side door seal and adjusted hinges to square that up to suit me, then winterized the big box water and waste systems. Photos to come. Did purchase a 30# LP tank and a 11âwc two stage regulator and 10â supply hose just for Gen supply. Also installed a Sirius XM radio for the wife as she was confounded chasing stations when took trip to MN for the trailer. |
