After 33 years I was the first one to change the original air filter. These Kohler iron motors keep going. Its amazing how much abuse they take and keep going,,, probably better than briggs and techumsch ?

Yeah, and heavy too!! That engine is probably breathin' a heck of a lot easier! Might even make more power! How bout' that.... LOL! They are a tough engine. The old Lawson/Tacumpsah Snow King engines were probably the toughest of the Lawson line. I have one of those on my snowblower. Been a great engine for the past 19 years. My father had one of those Snow King Lawsons on a Snowbird Snowblower. Man, he had that darn near 30 years before it chucked a rod out the side of the block. And, my father wasn't the best on maintenance either... LOL!

Oh no, you replaced the ORIGINAL air cleaner with a reproduction?
I wonder how that effects the machine's value
