Confused   Can anyone tell me if they made a sickle bar mower for the 720 and if so are there any around south-central Illinois?

Yes, there is a sickle bar mower made for the 720.  Here is a picture of my 720 with the sickle bar plus a finish mower on the back.
Have no idea if there are any around.  I found one in Minnesota and one in Michigan about 7 years ago but they were just too far away.  Then one day there was one about 8 miles from home.  That's the one I got for $500.00 which was the same price the other two wanted for theirs.  You just never know.     Den

Thanks a lot for everyone's reply. Den, it looks great and I may never find one but will keep looking. Saw a nice 720 at the Pontiac Ill show featuring Allis, not restored but pretty good shape. He wanted $3500 for it. Is that a reasonable price? Deck needed some work.

Lots of things to consider for $3500.00.   Does it have the rear PTO and is it working....that's a $500.00 item.  Otherwise it's in the range of what most are asking for...maybe just a little high.  As for as I'm concerned (since I have 6 of them)...it's too cheap. LOL.  Den

I have a 720 with a sickle mower, belly mower, front snow blower, rear rake, rotary tiller and loader.   Its a good runner until today as for some reason it has no spark.  I have been kicking around selling it.   Any interest in the whole package?

Not a good picture but can send more if interested. Complete w heavy lift cable. Will sell mule separate but is same as mule that runs mower decks.

Looks like I need to live closer to ColoradoCry I did look at Mr. Millers sale bill. Sure looks like a great sale. May have to try and make it there or put a phone bid in on some things. Can't swing the whole package but that would nice to have. Thanks for everyones reply!
