I found this little guy near Lafeyette, IN, and it was close to being headed to the scrap yard.  It was perfect for my daughter's new place, and I got it cleaned up and working in time for her birthday yesterday.  When I checked the operator's manual, I was surprised to see it was originally sold by my buddy, John Coon,  in May of 1976, thru his dealership in Hillsboro, IN.

Looks great Ed! What's the story on the latest garden tractor construction? Did you get an engine stuffed in that thing yet? Haven't heard anything in a while...

Thanks guys...it feels good to keep one working.

Sorry Steve, nothing new on the D21 project. I'm finishing up the work on my Uncles' 56 Ford pickup now, and I won't be able to get back to it until mid-summer.
How's the Nova project going?   Take care.

Ed,
The nephew is working on a few of the rust holes the wagon had in it. Its down in his shop in MD. He's installin' a couple patch panels. Motor is done, front subframe sandblasted and primed. New wiring made. Workin' on the Tranny next. Just tossin' in a Powerglide for now...

That is in great shape!
Women will never be equal to men until they can walk down the street with a bald head and a beer gut, and still think they are sexy.
