Since I do not know the actual diameter of the two tires, I cannot figure the difference.  At the outside of the rim it is 12.56 inches difference.  You take the diameter times (multiply) by 3.14.  At least I think that is what my math teacher taught me.  Den

setting side by side 18.4 x 34 on 20" wheels firestone f/r are the same height as my 15.5 x 38 f/r on 16" wheels

What bradn tire if there fireston google firestone tire data ar callthe dealer they can tell ya I walked in and started asking quetions he got tired of looking stuff up and gave me an old catoulg and said take it find what you want just leave ealone

How about if you look at speed charts for the same tractor at the same RPM. One speed chart with 34's and the other with 38's. Figure the percentage difference of speed and use that.

Thanks for the advice guys! all I needed was a measurement last night. My son and a buddy borrowed a calculator and think we have it figured out. My sons best idea was to buy a red or green tractor cause they have all the fancy store bought parts. Well that won't work with my situation because of a 8 to 5 job, wife, and rasing a granddaughter. And no farm ground to sell ( shouldna said that ). Oh well if all else fails it's one impressive lawn chair to drink beer out of. Later!
