I have some new gears to put in a WC rearend was wondering how hard it would be to install or if there where any tricks to getting the axle shafts out. If any one has some info on this I would appreciate it.

Yes the guy Said they where out of a high crop. But not sure how to get the axle shafts out to get the old gears out.

A shop manual is pretty handy when doin a job like this. It might make a bit of difference depending on what rear end you have too, steel or cast?

Well I got it out, I couldnt get the agco parts book to work but thanks anyways. By chance does anybody know how much this will slow me down I've heard everything from 10 to 25 percent guess it doesn't matter cause I own them haha just wondering.

I think that gear is a 6.6 ratio where the stock is around 4.4. I have a rear end out of a speed maintainer that is a tad slower around 7.2. The 1st thing I noticed is loading on trailer, it crawls right on rather than speeding on. My second gear is about the same speed as fisrt with the stock rear end. you will like those gears. GEt some 15.5's and you have a great combo
