My niece usually drives my WD45 in the 3500 lb. class, since I am very close on the weight.
I have a WC front end. It would be a lot easier to change front ends, than it would be to lose 50 lbs... |

I always thought going from a tricycle WD45 to an old WC tricycle was about 100 lb loss. The WD45 is solid cast iron leaving just enough room for the steering gears and the WC is very hollow.

Thanks out tp all.. I have done alot of searching, I see the unstyled front, it is considerably smaller. The WD45 IS thicker, I have one to compare to. The wd is some 3" thinner than the WD45, this WC I AM fooling with shapes just like the WD but is recessed back some 2.25 inches and "SOUNDS", lol! thinner???, when pecked on..
I was going to do the swap to try and gain 50# off my puller, and still might. I put the WC in the shop yesterday after it sitting out in the rain for two days. It was unbelieveable! It was stored without gas in it drained carb, etc.... I put gas to it, a battery in it, sanded the points and it didnt much more than turn over and it was running! Super oil pressure, the lift worked like a charm, pto is smooth. I compleete tractor with straight tin, a great restoration project!!!! It run for about five min. and I began to see coolant, the block is busted......, LOL, on to be a puller now... I got to put a shifter pin in the tranny shifter, its just going everywhere. This will be my first... Heard horror stories about this.
