Got a 7040 pump is maxed out it has very very little smoke and is lacking on power has a dm4 on it I thought the injunction pump was turned down so I got in to it and got a 1/4 turn on one of the screws and the other one wouldn't move.is the dm4 pumps maxed out from factory I now its not making 140 HP can any one help me

Their is a lot more to turning a DM4 pump up, than screwing the leaf screws down, the roller shoes, need to shorter for 1 thing. Your pump probably has a delivery valve stop leaking. That will leak the fuel back in the pump that should be going to the injectors. Take it off & let a pump shop help you out. GOOD LUCK
