Very COOL !!!! Saw a few of those tractors in the Museum at Bowling Green 2016. And at least one of them went down the track on Sunday Mornings 50Th calibration !

One of those years at the big indoor pull in Louisville (early 70's) Allis-Chalmers won the 5,000-7,000-12,000 and 15,000 pound classes and got second place in the 9,000 pound class.

yes, do you remember the poster they make of the winners?  It was the first year Ed Elgin helping   Nobel Harrison put out the twin turbo set ups.  Most bore the H&R Implement sticker.  Were a lot of Mckinnon 's pulling as well.   Wish someone had the old poster..

I remember that poster, yes. I also am remembering the tractor that got second place in the 9,000 pound class may very well have won the class, except for he had a connecting rod poke a big hole in the side of the block !!!!
