Decided to try to "temporarily " install a hydraulic equalization hose to get me by until winter project time. What are you guys using for the bottom drain plug, standard 1/2 inch elbow doesn't thread in. Believe it is an npt? fitting? Been to red and green dealers, 2 supply stores and an auto parts with nothing but puzzled looks. Any help appreciated. TIA

Id weld a merchant coupling to the head if the plug and drill a hole through the plug. That would give you tapered pipe thread to screw a fitting in

That drain plug that points straight down from the belly and takes a 7/8" is 1/2" pipe thread. You should be more concerned about the drain plug behind the battery box.

The one behind the battery was simple, 1/2 90 degree elbow and some tape. One underneath is a course thread that I can't get ma5ched up

drill a hole thru the plug and tap for pipe thread.... Does not have to be a BIG hose..

it is probably a BOLT thread..or SAE plug size ... If you measured with a MIKE and get the thread pitch, they do sell adaptor plugs.

im not saying it is a -12 fitting ... but if the OD of the plug is 1- 1/16 inch ... then something like this should fit.. ( 12 threads per inch)..
Like them all, but love the "B"s.
