We have always built our own. Buy some calipers and you can find disks made to fit the shaft.

If I didn't have to, I still prefer the braking to be done at the bull pinion shaft so as to not load the OEM final drive any more than it already is. Grabbing and instantly going out of bounds sounds like too much braking power and I would think that could certainly be dealt with to soften it up a little. There is a point when HP and wheel speed becomes more than the OEM brakes can deal with and you feel like Fred Flintstone dragging his feet on the track.

Coming up with pedals master cylinders and calipers is easy enough. I was wanting to know is there anybody that makes a brake disc to put on the bull pinion in place of the stock brakes/housing.

Utilize the splined part of the brake drum and bolt a homemade rotor plate to it.

Hydraulic disc brakes are easier to modulate than the OEM ball actuated disc brakes. Redo your differential cross shafts with needle bearings and you won't be needing to use your brakes for steering nearly as much if everything on your tractor is not set up off center.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |
