Is the Leroy head a better head ?? What other rods are guys using for a 45 engine looking for 80 hp ? Where or who stokes these cranks ? Any ideas or suggestions?

I believe one of the more respected engine builders on here (WI50) says he uses Farmall H rods to get enough clearance on "stroked" engines.

Crank Machine Service in New Baden Illinois can stroke your crank. Dan just did one for me. My brother and i have a setup to put in a wc 5.4 stroke with H rods. can do more with custom rods. leroi head has a chamber instead of being flat i believe, a guy in my club runs one but im not up on them.
