As if I don't have enough to do, I came across this Allis forklift

Went an estate auction. Don't remember seeing this on the sale bill. Anyway I won it and hauled it home. Dead battery and mouse crap all over the seat. Electric fuel pump added. I put a jump pack on it and it did turn over. Needed a new battery Anyway so in that went, turns over good. Fuel pump running but disconnected it so as not to run it dry. Power to the coil and distributor. No spark. Tightened a loose wire on the distributor and shined up the terminals. Got spark. Rigged up my
temporary gas tank and I'll be dipped it runs. Clutch doesn't seem to fully disengage causing gear grinding. Parking brake works. Main brakes do not.

Don't know anything about this thing, but it runs. Probably need to start with a manual as I have a wire attached to the distributor which I'm not sure should be there

Just what everyone needs - another project - park it far enough away from present projects so you can get to it tomorrow after you finish the things ahead of it .

I bid on one very similar to that on an online auction yesterday.
I wasn't so lucky; I didn't have the winning bid......or maybe I was lucky, lol!

Allis rake? I have a New Idea with snap coupler hitch. It was available with multiple hitch styles. Saw a Red Power video where one had a fast hitch.
