Thats the one I got. A YT video suggested Pine Sol and water. One bottle and the balance in water was less than 50/50. One must be cautious that cleaning solvent is compatible with the parts being cleaned

. 50/50 ultrasonic mixes seem excessive. Water does the work, the soap and degreasers just lift the oils so the water gets in. Soap breaks oil surface tension. I only use the soap cleaners like doing dishes. There might be a perfect ratio in between though. .

Your engine side weights aren’t actually for a CA. You have B and C weights but I think they will work.

Sparky,
Thanks! Why does that not surprise me? Everything else on the CA has been miss matched and thrown together. I did search for some CA weights and see that they are a different shape too. Am I right about the knob needing to come out and I need to find another knob for the other side. Another small project! So the continuing saga of the crusty old CA: I set the rocker arm assembly on the head tonight. As I was seating it I found that the # 2 riser/support was cracked on the top through the stud hole. Going to see If I can find a good used one. I have to relearn about the initial valve setting again. I think I am losing it, or maybe it was already gone!:) As I reviewed the oil filter base, I found a crack in that too. I think this old girl is playing all her cards and really is one of those tractors that needs a lot of attention! Maybe just Ms Needy? Just small moves like cleaning nuts and bolts, Buying several hundred dollars worth of parts every few days to satisfy my orange habit! And hoping a lot! Looking forward to painting some parts if the weather warms to 60F again soon. Lots of prep to do! Nice that this is the only project in the shop right now too. Lost about two weeks here with both of us having head colds. I do need to go look at those other two CA's up near the lake in Grape country also! I also need to talk with Steve at B&B about maybe making a wiring harness for this tractor. I think he might be able to do it??:) Regards, Chris and Cheryl

Mixture in the ultrasonic cleaner depends on what your trying to clean. In my case it was years of grease and dirt. Lower amount of super clean/water for easier clean up. I completely rinse after its clean. The amount of crud it got of was pretty amazing.
Chris, our CA weights has a bushing and bolt that holds it in place. I will take a picture of our weights if you would like?

When you have a C front bolster/support instead of the correct CA casting, only the B/C side weights will work.
I'll again offer the correct CA bolster/Steering support for free if you come get it, as I first did when you got into this project. I'll now also offer to trade your B/C weights for a correct pair of CA side weights with the mounting hardware, however no shipping. I've always used a long bolt with about 3 lockwashers then a nut drawn up to the head as the front mount for those weights.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits. If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY |

Paul,
Thank you for the generous offer. I believe I will stay with my Frankenstein font end and weight system assuming it will all go together!:) Regards, Chris and Cheryl
