I'm having trouble with the reel lift cylinders. You can raise it full up to even them out but often after you get it positioned the left side collapses over time. Do I need to reseal the cylinders?

Make double sure the fittings are tight. Doesn’t take much of a leak for them to bleed off. Found that on ours last week. It was the left side also.

Further investigation.....master on rt,slave on left. Left side sinks. Raised a bit and cracked bleeder. Nothing but oil however I didn't go crazy because didn't want the mess. I'm thinking no air in system but could be wrong. Left slave isn't leaking externally. If it was internal wouldn't it have have to leak out the top seal? I believe the problem is in the master cylinder leaking internally. Guess I'll pick up a seal kit and give it a try. Parked it fully Raised last night and will see how cockeyed it is this evening. Anyone think I'm on the right track?

You’re correct on the left and right but if the right was leaking ,wouldn’t they both creep down? Maybe I have it wrong.

Just got home and looked. Left (slave) is around 7in rod sticking out and rt (master) is like 11in sticking out. So...obviously the fluid is leaving the slave. It is dry externally. It must be leaking through master but it also must be going back through poppet valve on the combine NO? Maybe reseal the master will fix it? Wifey picked up seal kit today just got to find the time.

Update.....with cylinders full up got a decent amount of foamy oil out of bleeder. Not as book describes how to bleed.....grrrr....left it full up overnight with pressure hose disconnected. Still up this morning. Reconnect hose and left for work. Will see what I have when back home. Hoping it was just needing proper bleeding. Darn near every thing I've read in this POS service manual for this 62 is worthless. It's like the person who wrote it assumed you already knew what about what.

Update.....wife says it is not level this afternoon so has to be leaking through poppet in valve stack.ive been told its often just the oring on the poppet. Any one have experience with that?

Re seal one ram or both ,if they are the same age seal wise, a leaking poppet will let both down together. The seals on jack reel ram dont last very long,especially when theres 3 in phase like on a 36 ft draper,i know yours is an 800 ,but with the 3 machines run i ,2 36 and one 30 800, there’s always a ram needing a kit.

Ran gleaner and macdon heads most of them do this. Amongst all the breakdowns a person has over the harvest this was always the least of our worries. Every few passes when you get to the headlands as your turning raise reel fully then drop back down to the height you were at. Done.
If your really that worried about it sounds like a good winter project.
