We are done with 24 harvest but picked up the pulley that we ordered from the local CIH dealer. The Cummings pulley failed 2 years in a row. The CIH pulley is definitely thicker in the face area just by feel. 3 ml to 4 ml. CIH part #is 84244661, $148, the Cummings pulley was $150 so less than I thought for the upgrade. Bolt pattern and dimensions look identical.

What numbers are stamped in the pulleys? I’m sure they both are Cummins parts.

Leon does yours have the AC drive pulley on front of that pulley? Had shield off yesterday to blow out radiator and seen a pully stacked on that pulley which is shaped to fit over and back on the tapered part. Looks like it would reinforce that pulley. At least that's what I think I saw.

Yes that is the number that is stamped on to the pulley. And yes the pulley for the air conditioning sits in front of that pulley. Also I have been making sure to blow out the water pump and fan pulleys when I clean the machine in the mornings.

My R62 did that a few years ago. I didn't notice if the new pulley was thicker than the old one. Now the pulley has about as many hours of use as the original pulley so pre harvest I pull the fan and check for cracks but probably couldn't see them forming.
